This documentary took over a year and a half to complete. Great care was used to make sure the information contained is as accurate as practical.
Prescott, Az was the epicenter of the genesis of America's early history
in the south west. The early gold strike along Lynx Creek and the prolific
resources of the vast forests, water and minerials produced a rush of
people looking for a new life of opportunity.
This documentary highlights some of the most famous names in the annals
of hisotry of early America. Wyatt, Virgil, Morgan Earp, Doc Hilliday,
Johnny Behan, Big Nose Kate, and Josie Marcus launched their journey
into history from Prescott and on Whiskey Row. They were all on Whiskey
Row not too long before they traveled to Tombstone, Az. and the world's
most famous gunfight near the OK Coral.
Some of the best on camera talent in the country tell of the great events
of this era.
- Bob Boze Bell, exec. editor of "True West Magazine".
- Marshell Trimble, Emmy winner and official historian for the state
of Arizona.
- Wyatt Earp, great grand nephew of Wyatt Earp and noted historian.
- Melissa Ruffner, author and historian and great niece of Sheriff George
Ruffner, very popular Sheriff of Yavapai County.
